Our children’s ministry is for students in the 1st-5th grade.  We have a committed and faithful team of volunteers who love Jesus and want children to know Him.  Through this ministry, children have many opportunities to learn about Jesus and the Bible, serve and minister to others, become equipped to share Jesus, and also have some fun.  Two events the children at FBC get an opportunity to participate in each summer are Vacation Bible School and children’s camp at CrossTimbers in Davis, OK.  The children also have opportunities to participate in outreach and mission activities through Operation Christmas Child and Christmas caroling at the local assisted living center.

Children’s Ministries for 1st-5th Graders

Sunday School: children learn about God’s word in small groups determined by their age and grades from 9:15-10:20

Children’s Church: children participate in praise and worship with their parents in the sanctuary/gym, then are dismissed to go to the children’s area where they learn about God’s word and participate in activities related to the lesson.

Wednesday Nights: children participate in a large group time, then move to small groups in classrooms, then play in the gym for the last ten minutes or so.

Vacation Bible School: the first week of June, Monday - Friday mornings, grow in relationship with God through music, activities and most importantly, Bible study. 

CrossTimbers: church camp near Davis, OK, four days full of activities, Bible study and fun.

End of Summer Pool Party: the church rents the Cushing Aquatic Center and enjoys fun and fellowship.

Operation Christmas Child: share the gospel and send gifts to kids in places where they may not ever receive gifts or hear the good news about Jesus.
